This service outlet must provide eleven (11) places configured as a maximum of four (4) places per premise for children and young people aged 12 to under 18 years requiring Non-Family based out of home care, who have been assessed as having moderate, high, complex or extreme levels of support needs across a minimum of four (4) premises. The service outlet must provide a minimum of 16 hours of awake worker support plus 8-hour sleepover shift, for each property, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year, with some recall to work capacity. The service must provide culturally safe and secure support to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and young people to ensure their cultural identity and connection to family and community is assisted and maintained. The service will encourage children and young people to engage in education, training or employment. Where a child or young person is not engaged in education, training or employment, the service will support educational and/or vocational activities.
