Queensland Foster and Kinship Care (QFKC) provides: - Support and advocacy to foster & kinship carers on one-off matters - Advice to inform policy program, practice and service design to improve systems which impact on carers and children and young people - Recruitment , training and support for regional Foster Carer Advocacy and Support Service (FAST) delegates - Training events for foster carers, foster and kinship care services staff and department staff - Development of resources and training packages An Annual workplan will be negotiated between QFKC and Us to identify the proposed tasks/activities for each year subject to this Agreement. The annual workplan will be agreed upon in writing by both parties. Outcomes of the work plan will be recorded in the quarterly milestone report. Subcontracting to the Hub Community Legal Services (HCLS) for support for carer with legal advice, information, representation and support with Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) matters and Guardianship matters in Childrens Court. This payment is made once a year (Milestone) and is separated in the Pricing Table. Data reporting on this Subcontracting Arrangement with HCLS is required to be submitted yearly via P2i.
